A structured system for passing the RD exam without 8-hour study sessions, content overload, or second-guessing every question.
Traditional prep often looks like:
Reading chapters repeatedly
Highlighting and taking notes
Flashcards and passive review
Practice tests without deep analysis
If you’ve studied for months and still felt unsure during the exam, the issue may not be effort.
It may be method.
“It broke everything down into bite-sized pieces and finally helped me focus.” -- Sierra
Most study resources focus on delivering information.
The Study Smarter Method focuses on how you use that information.
My study guides are built around this framework — but the method itself trains you to approach practice and exam questions with structure and intention.
Instead of separating review from practice, this system integrates both.
You learn how to:
Analyze every answer choice — not just whether it’s correct
Recognize patterns in question construction
Identify distractors before they cost you points
Engage in active learning rather than passive review
This is not more material.
It is a structured way of using material more effectively.
“This was the first program that taught me how to study smarter.” -- Keisha
Engage with questions to surface knowledge gaps.
Dissect every answer choice. Understand why each is right or wrong.
Use mistakes as learning tools, not score indicators.
Reduce total study time
Avoid spending $300–$900 on additional prep
Increase efficiency within 4–8 weeks
Reduce test anxiety
Stop second-guessing your study plan
Regain confidence after previous attempts
The Study Smarter Method was developed after working with students who were studying for months and still not passing the RD exam. They weren’t lazy. They weren’t unprepared. They were using the same traditional study methods they had always been taught — reading, highlighting, rewriting notes, and taking practice tests without a system for analyzing them.
The problem wasn’t effort. It was approach.
Most students are taught to consume content. Very few are taught how to dissect exam questions, evaluate every answer choice, or understand how the test is constructed. When we shifted the focus from memorization to structured question analysis, performance changed. Study sessions became intentional. Gaps became visible. Confidence grew because students understood why an answer was right — not just that it was.
Over time, this approach became a repeatable system. Students who had struggled across multiple attempts began to pass. Not because they added more content — but because they changed how they engaged with it.
The Study Smarter Method is not another study guide. It is a structured system for thinking through the exam itself.
If you have studied for the RD exam before (that is, used another resource to go through all the content) I recommend at least 2-3 months.
If you are studying for the RD exam for the first time, I recommend around 6 months total.
Of course not everyone has 6 months to study. The Study Smarter Method can be adapted for shorter time periods if you are meeting an employer deadline.
